These glass & bronze rectangular pendants are statement pieces, works of art.
The pendant design, "Serenity", was inspired by and created from an original photo of the Baháʼí House of Worship in Wilmette, IL. The temple is simultaneously awe-inspiring and serene. The architecture is striking with intricate detail incorporating symbols from many religions. The House of Worship is open to the public and used as a devotional space for people of any faith. It is one of the "Seven Wonders of Illinois" and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The pendant design, " Wallflower" was created from an original photo of street art in Alfama, the oldest and most colorful district in Lisbon, Portugal. On our last afternoon in Lisbon, we were wandering down the cobbled streets from Castelo de Sao Jorge to the Tejo River and came upon this incredible wall of "flowers" surrounding an abandoned building.
